HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY FROM HONG KONG!

Hong Kong celebrated its Independence Day last weekend. We celebrated by participating in their Independence Day march.

There are so many freedoms we had back in the US that we took for granted while living there. Having spent the last 6 months in Asia, I have visited several countries with so many restrictions, such as the freedom of speech and freedom to vote, making Independence Day so much more meaningful this year. Thank you to all of our soldiers and veterans who sacrifice their lives each day to ensure we live in a safer world.

After the march, we hosted our family (12 people in total!) for an Italian dinner at our place. And to top off the great day, we were able to catch some of the Independence Day fireworks from our living room window!

Happy 4th of July to all of our friends and family back in the US!
